Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the transaction. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail or over the Internet. Payment Methods: You may purchase products from this site using a Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Splash or Delta card. Alternatively you may send a cheque or international money order made payable to Home Vision, 55 High Street, Dingwall, IV15 9HL. Please allow time for cheques to be cleared before goods are dispatched. All prices include VAT.

European Country Orders - Vary according to parcel size and destination country. Please add purchase to shopping cart and then click on "checkout now", you can then choose the destination country, then click "next" and you will be shown the cost of delivery to that country. Please note we do not send Plasma's or LCD TV's abroad.

Shipping And Handling

We deliver all items on the website to UK mainland addresses. We ship to most European countries. When placing an order please click on your country in the "select Invoice Location" and "Select Shipping Destination" fields. We ship to most countries in Europe. Those countries are : Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. If your country is not listed then unfortunately we do not presently ship to that location. Please note we only send orders valued over £200 abroad if the customer transfers the payment into our business account in advance.

There are flat rate postal charges for the following countries:

Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal - £29.00
Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg - £16.00
Ireland - £17.99

NOTE:
All UK orders under £200 can be shipped to a different address to that of the card holder. Any UK orders above £200 must be shipped to the card holders address. We also require the 3 digit security number on the back of your card and your home landline telephone number.

Delivery Schedule

Any item ordered on this site after 9am Monday-Friday will be despatched on the next working day. If the order is placed on a Saturday or Sunday it will be dispatched on Monday. UK orders are dispatched via Parcel Post and normally take 3-7 working days to arrive (although allow up to 19 days in certain cases). In the unlikely event that your order doesn't arrive within 7 working days we must wait 18 working days before resending you your order. Premium 48 hour delivery can also be selected when purchasing the item. In the unlikely event that we are out of stock of your chosen product you will be contacted immediately and given the option to cancel your order or have it put on back order with an estimated delivery date. Your card will not be debited until the goods are ready for despatch.

International orders are despatched by airmail. Small parcels can go via Airmail standard which take between 3-5 working days to arrive. You can also choose to have them sent via Global Priority which takes between 3-5 working days to arrive. Larger parcels can only go via Global Priority. Please choose the appropriate option on the website when ordering.

Once we have delivered the product to the requested address, we accept no responsibility for any injury to you or anyone else carrying the equipment. We would advise two or more persons to carry any large equipment to reduce the risk of injury.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back-order for you. You will always be e-mailed or telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

All prices on the website are quoted inclusive of UK VAT.

Credit Card Security

We use a totally secure website to take all credit card details. Numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee:

Every product purchased from us is guaranteed for 12 months(sometimes 24 months depending on manufacturer). If your purchase fails in some way within this period you may return it to us and we will repair or replace it. The above guarantee does not cover physical damage, damage caused by fire, liquid immersion or spillage. All guarantees are in addition to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Privacy Policy

Home Vision do not disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Returns Policy

If you receive any item that is different to that which you ordered, please call us on 01349 866655 within 7 days from receipt. We advise you to return it to us within 7 days from receipt using standard royal mail or Parcel Force (you may insure it if you wish). When we receive the product back, we will contact you and offer you the correct product or a full refund within 10 working days.

If you receive any product that is damaged or faulty please call us on 01349 866655 within 7 days from receipt. We advise you to return it to us complete with all accessories, instructions and original packaging if possible. Please do not write on the packaging. Use standard royal mail or Parcel Force (you may insure it if you wish). When we receive it back we will either offer you a full refund or a replacement product within 10 working days. Unfortunately, if your unit develops a fault after a 7 day period we cannot refund your return postage. Please note if you do not return it with all accessories, instructions and original packaging then we cannot offer you a refund only a replacement (the replacement will not have include any items that were missing from the returned product)

You may return unwanted goods within 7 days of receipt providing it is complete with all accessories, instructions and original packaging. Please do not write on the packaging. We will refund the purchase price of the item within 30 working days of your notice to cancel. Unfortunately we are unable to refund the cost of postage or your return postage charges in this instance.

All guarantees are in addition to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Errors/Omissions

Keystall Ltd T/A Home Vision will not, as a result, be held liable for any errors of omissions pertaining to the information contained in this website. Whilst every endevour is made to ensure that the information supplied is accurate, errors may occur due to changes in manufacturers product specifications.

Printing and Pricing Errors

In the event a product is listed at a wrong price due to a typographical (human) error or incorrect pricing information received from our suppliers, we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment charged. If payment has been made and your order is cancelled we will immediately issue a full refund.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations have been introduced by the government in order to reduce the amount of electrical items going to landfill and encourage recycling and re-use of these products using the best available means. Any residual WEEE should be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

Electrical goods are the fastest growing waste stream in the UK, growing by 5% each year. Each year in the UK we go through over 1.2 million tonnes of electrical waste.

Over 75% of waste electrical goods end up in landfill, where lead and other toxins contained in these items can cause soil and water contamination which, in turn, can have a very harmful effect on the environment and human health.

Many of the electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending waste electrical goods to landfill.

In order to protect the environment for future generations it is important that we are all aware of the consequences of our actions and learn what we can do to make a difference.

Look for this symbol

Electrical and Electronic Equipment that was made after 13th August 2005 should display this symbol on the packaging or product. It means that the product is covered by the WEEE Regulations and every effort should be made to recycle it.

Distributor Take Back Scheme

Home Vision fully support this regulation and is fulfilling their distributor obligations by offering a "take back" scheme operating on a "like for like" basis, where a customer is purchasing a new product to replace a similar product that he/she wishes to discard. In Home Visions case as we sell mainly radios for example, we would be prepared to accept an old radio when a customer buys a new radio from ourselves. You can take the radio into our store or if you don't live locally return the old radio (at your own cost) within 28 days of purchasing the new one and include a cover note with your name, address and details of the new radio purchased from us. We will dispose of the radio for recycling. Please phone us on 01349 866655 before sending the item for recycling so we can confirm with you it complies with our "like for like" take back scheme.

 

Recycle your old electricals

Please ensure that your old Waste Electricals and Electronics are recycled in accordance with the regulations. Please do not throw them away with your domestic rubbish as they will not be recycled.

You may also contact your local council, or visit www.recycle-more.co.uk and click on ‘Bank Locator’ to find your nearest recycling point.
