Roberts Radio Gemini RD50 Floral Cath Kidston
Roberts have been making radios since 1932 when Harry Roberts founded the company. They are renowned for the quality craftsmanship and today hold three Royal Warrants. They have teamed up with designer Cath Kidston to produce this unique Roberts RD50 radio bringing cutting edge technology and retro design together in perfect harmony. British fabric designer Cath Kidston contributes a wonderfully nostalgic floral print that fully compliments its 1950s inspired shape. But this radio isnt all about looks, it sounds great too. The RD50's DAB tuner provides interference-free digital audio without the hiss, crackle and fade of AM/FM broadcasts. With a single press of the handy PausePlus button you can put your favourite radio station on hold. So once youve answered the door or taken the phone call you simply press it again and return to your programme exactly where you left off. It also features a 2-line backlit LCD display that provides clear and concise station information. Cath Kidston started her company in a small shop in Notting Hill in 1993, selling second-hand furniture and vintage fabrics. She soon began to design her own fabric and wallpaper, creating signature floral prints, which have come to stand for her unique look.
