The Myryad MXV 4000 DVD-Video Player has been designed to offer a combination of high quality sound reproduction and elegant styling in keeping with other Myryad products. The MXV 4000 is a full-function remote controlled DVD-Video player. It has fixed-level low-impedance audio outputs to drive a Myryad pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier or other high quality amplifier. Video outputs are provided in composite, S-video and component form and can be fed to an audio-video preamplifier , amplifier or direct to a TV.

In addition the MXV 4000 has coax and optical digital outputs (SPDIF standard) to feed a digital surround processor and a Smart My-Link control

Key features of the MXV4000 include:

Advanced DVD loader with metal disc tray and precision-machined steel tray guides.

HDMI output with upscaling to 720p and 1080i using a Faroudja DCDi de-interlacer/upscaler.

Composite, S-video and Component (interlaced or progressive) analogue video outputs via

12bit 216MHz video DACs.

Plays DVD-Video, SACD and almost every other kind of silver disc (see below).

Built-in Dolby Digital and DTS decoding is provided, together with Dolby Pro Logic II and Virtual Surround options.

Simultaneous 5.1 channel and stereo downmix audio outputs allow a stereo feed to a second room or zone.

Interlaced composite and s-video outputs maintained even when component output set to progressive scan, providing video signal for a second room or zone.

24bit/192kHz DACs plus audiophile quality analogue filtering on all analogue audio outputs.

Analogue audio output circuitry drawn directly from Myryad???s CD players.

CDs can be upsampled to 88.2kHz or 176.4kHz for further improved sound quality.

Fully Smart My-Link® compatible.

External control via RS232.

Heavyweight MX-style chassis and top cover ensure a stable platform for the disc drive.
